ABUSE, NEGLECT AND EXPLOITATION TRAINING

The Area Agency on Aging and the Department of Children and Families, Southern Zone, are joining to provide our local organizations this specialized training at no cost. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the session.

The specific training goals are:

• Understanding aging process and effects on daily living
• Recognition, understanding & reporting of abuse, neglect exploitation and self-neglect of vulnerable adults
• Improving communications among professionals, service providers, the abuse hotline and adult protective services.
  

Download and complete the registration form. The form must be received by the Area Agency on Aging no later than 5 business days prior to the training. Registration form on following page.
