| The Leadership Institute for Active Aging provides opportunities for adults, age 50 and older, to serve in enhanced volunteer positions that support independent living programs for seniors and their caregivers throughout Palm Beach County. Volunteers are provided pre-service training at a local college or university prior to placement within local non-profit organizations. Training topics include: the aging process; safety and security; wellness, prevention, and healthy active aging; community resources; leadership; and project development.
