Graduation Luncheon
The Leadership Institute for Active Aging
An eight-week training program for senior volunteers held at a local University or College. Classes are held two days per week and provide participants with up-to-date information on aging issues, aging resources, leadership development and civic engagement. AmeriCorps/Legacy Corps Program
AmeriCorps/Legacy Corps members can make a lasting impact in their communities by serving as Community Service Specialists to help support and sustain independent living services in community respite/caregiver programs or by helping to expand community volunteerism as a "Volunteer Generator".

AmeriCorps/Legacy Corps members may be eligible to receive a monthly financial incentive and also earn an educational award from the National Service Trust that can be used at a college or university for adult and continuing education programs or degree programs.
